STUDENTS at a Darlington school are supporting a national campaign to raise awareness of world poverty.

The 11 to 18-year-olds from Carmel RC Technology College, in Darlington, are wearing white wristbands to back the MakePovertyHistory appeal, a joint venture between 100 charities, trade unions, faith groups and celebrities.
