Free event gives advice on health

A FREE community health drop-in event will be held in Spennymoor next week. St Paul's Parish Hall, in Whitworth Terrace, will host the event tomorrow, from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Visitors can book a health check and get advice on how to quit smoking, lose weight, be more active and energy saving. The event includes healthy refreshments and demonstrations on healthy cooking, cycling and free hand massages. People can turn up on the day, but the health checks must be booked with the Pioneering Care Centre, on 01325-321234, or email enquires@pcp. uk.net
