A FAMILY heirloom discovered at a priory has been donated to historians by the grandson of the man who found it more than 100 years ago.

The pewter serving dish, thought to originate from the 17th or 18th Century, was donated to English Heritage by Arthur Dent, a retired farmer from Crathorne, near Ya rm.
