A BLACK Friday in the credit crunch saw hundreds of workersmade redundant with a major North-East electrical engineering firm among several companies to go into administration.
The Northern Echo understands that the majority of about 370 workers employed by Watson Norie at its Newcastle headquarters, as well as those employed at offices in Scunthorpe and Grangemouth, were yesterday made redundant with immediate effect.See the full content of this document
