ETHIOPIAN Yared Hagos stormed to a record-breaking runaway victory in yesterday's big Darlington 10K and announced: "I want to make my home in the North-East."
The 30-year-old East African, who has a five-year visa to remain in Britain, has put together a string of road race victories since leaving his training headquarters in Addis Ababa, and he dominated the 24th running of the popular Darlington event to win in 30 minutes 6 seconds, slicing 15 seconds off the course record, which had stood since 2002.See the full content of this document
