THE plug has been pulled on funding for a highly successful scheme which offers free swimming sessions to youngsters in the school holidays.
The scheme, which encouraged 500 per cent more under 16s to swim at Eston Sports Centre, near Middlesbrough, in the summer of 2003 compared to the same period in 2002, will not be continued this year.See the full content of this document
