Lorry causes traffic chaos
A JACKKNIFED lorry caused traffic chaos when it became stuck on a grass verge during rush hour in Darlington yesterday morning. The lorry was trying to exit Lingfield Point business park. Police were called at 8am to direct traffic around the junction between Lingfield Point and McMullen Road after the tanker's wheel became embedded in the verge when the driver was trying to turn around. Traffic was moving as normal by 9.30am, after a mechanic was called and released the vehicle.See the full content of this document
