FAILINGS at a North-East bail hostel where a man was murdered has led to the company in charge to lose its national contract, it has been revealed.

ClearSprings was paid [pounds]10.3m by the Government over the last two years to run more than 200 private bail hostels in England and Wales which house prisoners on early release or awaiting trial.
