THE HUSTLE and bustle of a Georgian Country Fair was recreated a popular open air museum at the weekend.
The event, at Beamish Museum, near Stanley, featured authentic tents from the early 1800s with demonstrations of corn dolly making, basket making and pole lathing. An extra attraction this year was gurning - the art of pulling grotesque faces through a horse's collar.See the full content of this document
