Appeal After [Pounds]25,000 of Jewellery Stolen

Summary


THIEVES escaped with jewellery worth about [pounds]25,000 during a shop raid in the early hours of the morning.

The raiders broke in through the back of Palenque jewellers, in Low Petergate, York, between 1.55am and 2.30am on Monday. They stole various items, including a 14 carat gold pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet set worth [pounds]3,800, a 14 carat gold necklace and bracelet set worth [pounds]1,000, a [pounds]415 Icarus 14 carat pearl necklace and six trays of silver and gold rings, valued at about [pounds]20,000.
